February 1 - 6
The first five days of February are mellow. We adapt and enjoy the low-keyed energies. However, on Saturday, Mercury taps into Uranus, generating a whole new vibration. The ideas may not be genius, but there will be some excitement as everyone seems to clamor to present their ideas. Jupiter connects with Pluto on Saturday, adding a spiritual theme to the weekend. February 7 - 13
Monday is a lovely creative day of dreaming big. Romance fantasies abound and the imagination runs wild with the idealistic. Don't be afraid to soak up some of this imaginary fun, but don't trust your intuition to guide you if an important decision is required this week. This week is great for exploring creative talents, escaping from reality, but not for making life altering choices. On Wednesday, Mercury moves into Aquarius, helping us think in terms of interpersonal connections, universal design, and humanitarian help and hope. Logic takes on an analytical filter and thinking patterns feel more concise than ever. Thursday, Venus enters Pisces, possibly fueling the romantic ideal or the spurring of financial fantasies. February is a great time for exploring without making final decisions in the relationship or money realms. Saturday, Mercury forms a trine to Saturn and Mercury also opposes Mars retrograde. These connections can certain give us the edge. The trine can give us the ability to fine-tune some of our ideas. Precision and perfection certainly won't hold us back today. The opposition is likely to force our hand while dealing with others. The key is to listen and understand another person's point of view. We have the ability to acknowledge differences without belittling. Also, take a little extra time while driving or working around motors/electrical sources.
February 14 - 20
Happy Valentine's Day. We were allowed to enjoy the slower pace. Now it's time to pick up the pace and react according to the universe. The New Moon on Sunday is also the Chinese New Year. The Aquarius influence encourages us to fix "what ails us" and become aware of the foibles. The Sun's connection with Neptune can give us an intuitive boost. We have the ability to empathize and sympathize. Because that we don't use this power to manipulate the situations. Those of us who are not accustomed to the power of "feeling" other people's energies may feel like escaping through some form of self-medication. This escapism could be more dangerous while amplified by the illusion of Neptune's fog. We may not even realize the peril until it is too late to correct. On Monday, some aspects of reality will ease back in for us to grab on to. Venus will sextile Pluto, giving us real values to get us back on track. This will also be an excellent time to release out-dated items (or ideas) from our ownership. The connection will give us insight into relationship and money matters. Also on Monday is the Mars retrograde sextile to Saturn. This will contribute to our needs/desires for self-control and persistence. The procrastination traits that have been holding us back are likely to be revealed. We are likely to learn about our momentum and energy reserves this week. The busyness of the week continues on Wednesday when Venus joins up with Jupiter. The key term for this connection is SPLURGE. It can be okay to pamper yourself if the correct planning has gone into the event. Excess will be the undoing of many budgets this week. On Thursday, the Sun will move into Pisces. Pisces influences can defined as saintly, comforting, mysterious, escaping, pretending, lost, glamorous, intangible, revealing, evolving and inspirational. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac but also seems to hold the hidden meanings of all the other signs. If we try to barge through, we get lost. If we attempt to hide, we get revealed. One of the keys to navigating the Pisces influence is to be a little dependent and a little independent, concurrently allowing the fantasy and the reality to commingle.
